Since Valentines was on a Sunday this year and we spend our Sunday evenings having dinner at my Mom's house. Anton and I chose to celebrate it with each other another night and be Mom's valentines. We took her roses before church and then enjoyed the evening with her.

Because Anton has been working so often and at such weird times we celebrated our Valentines the Wednesday after. I woke up early to do my yoga and found roses and a note awaiting me on the kitchen counter. Anton had gone to the store around midnight when he was sure that I was asleep so that he could surprise me. I think he is supper cute!!!

Last year we were also celebrating I think our six month anniversary around the same time so I had made him a big fancy dinner(that I am still very proud of :)) so this year he offered to make me dinner, but at my request we made it together, which was really special! I got home from work and started baking a white cake from scratch and layered it with strawberries and strawberry danish, topping it with a cream cheese frosting and more fresh strawberries. It took me basically the whole afternoon. It was a very large cake!

I have been wanting to try out our pizza stone and so for dinner I made a whole wheat crust while Anton made homemade sauce, we topped it with cheese and mushrooms. It didn't look perfect, but oh my goodness it tasted fabulous! We drank grape juice in the pretty wine glasses that we brought home from Russia and had a very pleasant evening. We attempted to watch "where the wild things are", but it couldn't hold either of our attention so we read our scriptures and went to bed early. It was such a nice evening!
